Networking in children’s ministry
Working together is critical in children’s ministry, but it’s harder to achieve than we imagine. CGMC is concerned to raise the profile of children’s ministry in training for ministries, especially ordained ministries in churches.
The November 2012 conference brought together nearly fifty college principals from England, Wales and Ireland to consider how CGMC might support education in children’s ministry.
Rev Dr Paula Gooder offered a theological foundation for the inclusion of children in serious reflection on the nature of the church based on Zechariah 8:4-
Mary Hawes drew attention to literature informing current thinking on children’s spirituality and ministry to children and families.
