Rural Children’s Ministry

We are committed to supporting real-life practice and are producing a range of video-resources where Christian educators across Scotland describe their experiences. These are available on YouTube at the Ceascotland Channel. Each currently available clip is also briefly described here. If you wish more information on any of the ideas or activities featured here, contact in the first instance and we’ll put you in touch. You can get more information directly about ministry in Ardgour, Kingairloch, Morvern and Strontian at their website.

WEE WORSHIP in MORE DETAIL Rev Donald McCorkindale and Rev Mairi Perkins explain in more detail what Wee Worship, which they run in Strontian on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in north-west Scotland, is like and what it seems to work well.
MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES Rev Donald McCorkindale describes his take on the concept of 'multiple intelligences' and explains how he has found this to be a useful idea in constructing worship and other activities for a range of ages at once.
